LOS ANGELES — Jerry O’Connell has made a rather personal admission about his wife, Rebecca Romijn, and her preferred method of natural deodorant. The actor shared the revelation during Monday’s episode of the “Thanks Dad with Ego Nwodim” podcast. According to O’Connell, Romijn uses crystals under her arms as an alternative to traditional deodorant.
“I’m here to tell everyone, it doesn’t work,” O’Connell said on the podcast. But here is where the confession takes an intimate turn.
The actor admitted he does not mind his wife’s natural scent. “It doesn’t offend me. I actually, ah — this is gonna get a little dirty — I kind of like it when I can smell my wife’s body odor,” he said.
O’Connell described the sensation as a reminder of life itself, adding, “She’s alive, we’re alive, we’re living. It’s, like, a little kicking and like, it’s a little funky town.” O’Connell and Romijn were married in 2007.
The marriage came two years after Romijn’s divorce from “Full House” star John Stamos. The couple are parents to twin daughters Dolly O’Connell and Charlie O’Connell. The “Stand By Me” star has been open about family dynamics before.
During a recent appearance on “Live with Kelly and Mark,” O’Connell recalled a moment from his wedding day when his mother, Linda O’Connell, offered him an unconventional escape route. “You don’t have to do this,” he remembered his mother telling him as they walked toward the ceremony. “You can go to the airport — no questions.

The model and actress revealed that keeping their “money completely separate” has been a key factor in their long-term relationship.
For now, it appears the couple’s bond remains strong — even if the crystals under the arms aren’t doing their job.
