BAKU, June 25 — Azerbaijan exported a significant volume of natural gas to Türkiye in the first four months of 2026, with the value of these exports reaching $823.2 million. The State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan released a report detailing the country’s foreign trade relations from January to April 2026, which included the natural gas exports to Türkiye. The report revealed that the volume of natural gas exported to Türkiye increased slightly compared to the same period last year, while the value of these exports decreased.
This shift highlights the complex dynamics of the energy trade between the two countries. A sharp rise in natural gas exports was observed, with Azerbaijan exporting a substantial volume of natural gas to eight countries in the first four months of 2026.

The value of these imports was $11.307 million, with the report noting that no data on natural gas imports from Iran to Azerbaijan were reported for the same period in the previous year.
