The press conference was set for 11 a.m. at the Motiaz Group corporate office. By the time Mukul Bansal, Co-Founder and Managing Director, stepped to the podium, the room was full. Journalists, industry observers, and a few local business owners had come for two announcements.
First came the logo. Bansal unveiled the new corporate identity for Motiaz Group.
It was a refresh, he said, not a rebrand. The old logo had served through the company’s founding years. The new one, he told the room, signaled a forward-looking era.
“Under a refreshed identity, the Motiaz legacy will be taken ahead with delivery of some very innovative projects,” Bansal said. Then he got to the main event.
Motiaz Capital One. The mixed-use commercial development sits at the NH-7/PR-7 junction, better known as Airport Road, in Zirakpur. Bansal described it as the start of that new era.
“We are starting this foray with the announcement of ‘Motiaz Capital One’,” he said. The company had already secured regulatory clearance. The Punjab Real Estate Regulatory Authority had approved the project.
The registration number is PBRERA-SAS79-PC0425-042026. That detail was included in the press kit handed out after the announcement.
Bansal framed the project around a local gap. Zirakpur, he argued, has long lacked a certain kind of place. Not just a shopping center.
Not just an office block. Something bigger.
“Capital One is our vision of creating something Zirakpur has long awaited—a destination where commerce meets culture and community,” he said. He described a specific vision. A place where people meet friends.
Where they eat good food and drink coffee. Where they find leading brands. Where entertainment and cultural activities happen.
“We are creating a vibrant urban space where people come to meet friends, enjoy great food and coffee, discover leading brands, experience entertainment, and participate in cultural activities,” Bansal told the media. The company’s statement used a core philosophy: “More Than Retail.
A Destination.” That phrase appeared in the press materials and on the presentation slides shown during the conference. Motiaz Group is positioning Capital One as an integrated, all-in-one lifestyle hub. The target audience is broad.
Residents of Zirakpur. People across the tricity region.
Even visitors from beyond. The development will include premium retail brands. High-street shopping.
Signature restaurants. Cafés. Food courts.
Entertainment zones. Modern office spaces.
One attendee asked about the timeline. Bansal did not give a specific opening date. He said the RERA approval was the critical first step.
The project would move forward in phases. The press conference lasted about 45 minutes.
After the formal presentation, Bansal took a few more questions. He repeated the core message: Motiaz Group is a leading real estate developer in the region, and Capital One is its next big bet. The new logo and the new project, he said, are tied together.
One marks the identity. The other marks the direction. By noon, the room had emptied.
The journalists had their story. The company had its announcement.
The logo was on the screen behind the podium. The RERA number was on the paperwork. And Capital One was officially public.
