Full details: Smart Nation Expo 2026 event guide
Smart Nation Expo 2026 opens on 17 November at MITEC in Kuala Lumpur. The three-day trade expo runs through 19 November. It is the fifth edition of the event. The focus sits on smart cities, digital innovation and urban transformation. Organisers have built the programme around three pillars: Infrastructure & Connectivity, Fintech & Digital Economy, and Mobility & Energy Corridors. They expect more than 200 exhibiting brands and over 40 conferences and seminars. More than 7,000 trade professionals from 44 countries are set to attend.
What to expect
The show floor will host exhibitors across the three pillars. Conference tracks run across all three days. Seminars cover infrastructure, fintech, digital economy, mobility and energy corridors. The expo is built for trade professionals. Networking sessions sit alongside the formal conference programme. The official site lists the full agenda and speaker lineup.
Tickets and how to attend
Visitor registration runs through the official website at smartnationexpo.org. Look for the Register Now or Visitor Registration button. The site lists entry rules and conference pass options. Attendance is limited to trade professionals. No on-site ticket sales are mentioned. Check the official page for the latest registration deadlines.
Getting there
From central Kuala Lumpur, a Grab ride to MITEC takes about 20 minutes. Rush hour pushes the trip longer. Leaving before 8am or after 9.30am avoids the worst of the morning traffic. The venue sits at 8 Jalan Dutamas 2, 50480 Kuala Lumpur. MITEC is the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre.
Where to stay
For a splurge, Hyatt Regency Kuala Lumpur sits at or right beside the venue. For better value, Cormar Suites Kuala Lumpur is a newly renovated 4-star hotel in central Kuala Lumpur, about 15 minutes’ walk from the Petronas Twin Towers. Its studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites are larger than a standard hotel room, each with a full kitchenette, a work desk, fast WiFi and a bathtub, and it usually costs far less than the big-brand hotels.
How to get there from the city centre, what is nearby and the full event details are on the Smart Nation Expo 2026 guide. Event dates fill hotels fast: book direct with Cormar Suites for the best available rate, and confirm times and entry rules with the organiser before you go.
