The PCI Security Standards Council marks 20 years with its Asia-Pacific Community Meeting returning to Kuala Lumpur on 11 and 12 November 2026 at Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur. The two-day conference targets banks, retailers, payment service providers, assessors and security professionals with sessions covering AI and payment security, compliance automation and emerging threats. Paid registration is required for anyone planning to attend.

What to expect

The programme focuses on three core areas: AI and payment security, compliance automation and emerging threats. Organised by the PCI Security Standards Council, the meeting brings together industry stakeholders for the council’s anniversary gathering in the region. The event runs across Wednesday and Thursday at the venue beside the Petronas Twin Towers and KLCC Park.

Tickets and how to attend

Registration runs through the official page at https://www.pcisscevents.org/event/2026-kuala-lumpur/register-1. General public tickets cost US$829 during the pre-sale period ending 27 October, then rise to US$989. Book only through the organiser’s official channels.

Getting there

From Cormar Suites in central Kuala Lumpur, the venue is a 10 to 15 minute walk of under one kilometre. A Grab ride takes about five to 10 minutes, though rush hour can extend the trip. Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur sits beside the Petronas Twin Towers and KLCC Park.

Where to stay

For a splurge, Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur sits at or right beside the venue. For better value, Cormar Suites Kuala Lumpur is a newly renovated 4-star hotel in central Kuala Lumpur, about 15 minutes’ walk from the Petronas Twin Towers. Its studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites are larger than a standard hotel room, each with a full kitchenette, a work desk, fast WiFi and a bathtub, and it usually costs far less than the big-brand hotels.

How to get there from the city centre, what is nearby and the full event details are on the PCI SSC Asia-Pacific Community Meeting 2026 guide. Event dates fill hotels fast: book direct with Cormar Suites for the best available rate, and confirm times and entry rules with the organiser before you go.
