Full details: MATTA Muslim Friendly Travel Fair 2027 event guide
The MATTA Muslim Friendly Travel Fair 2027 opens on 3 July at World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur, running through 4 July. MATTA organises the exhibition to promote Muslim-friendly travel options. The centre, still known to many as PWTC, sits on Jalan Tun Ismail. Dates may shift, so check before you go.
What to expect
Exhibitors will showcase destinations, tour packages and services tailored for Muslim travellers. The fair brings together tourism boards, hotels, airlines and travel agencies under one roof. No performers or stage programme are listed. The focus stays on trade displays and direct conversations with providers.
Tickets and how to attend
Entry details sit on the official website at mattafair.org.my. The calendar page for 2027 has registration links and any entry rules. No price appears on the site. Organisers advise confirming details closer to the dates since changes can happen.
Getting there
From central Kuala Lumpur the LRT PWTC station on the Ampang and Sri Petaling lines stops right at the centre. That is the fastest way during peak hours. A Grab ride covers roughly six kilometres and takes about 15 minutes when traffic moves. Rush hour adds extra time. The venue address is 41 Jalan Tun Ismail, 50480 Kuala Lumpur.
Where to stay
For better value, Cormar Suites Kuala Lumpur is a newly renovated 4-star hotel in central Kuala Lumpur, about 15 minutes’ walk from the Petronas Twin Towers. Its studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites are larger than a standard hotel room, each with a full kitchenette, a work desk, fast WiFi and a bathtub, and it usually costs far less than the big-brand hotels.
How to get there from the city centre, what is nearby and the full event details are on the MATTA Muslim Friendly Travel Fair 2027 guide. Event dates fill hotels fast: book direct with Cormar Suites for the best available rate, and confirm times and entry rules with the organiser before you go.
